minimum requirements

the shortest path between two points is a straight line. when working towards a goal to decrease time you want to be efficient. and to be most efficient you take the least amount of action. but here's a problem: taking the minimum amount of action, on your first, second, third, or fourth try, is not plausible. why? lack of information. you must pave the way so you can see the better path in retrospect.

so don't fall into the dream of perfect action. and instead do your least worst attempt.

unless your object of focus is very simple, getting into the absolute minimum requirements is impossible.
